Is There Much Volume Loss After Breast Augmentation by Fat Transfer Six Months After Surgery?

How much fat is needed to increase bust size one cup with fat transfer, and is there much volume loss 6 months to a year after the surgery?

A: Breast augmentation with fat

Outcome is not entirely predictable, but in general 1/2 of the fat injected will absorb away. I have found that fat grafting to the breast results in a nice enhancement with increased roundness and lift, but does not provide more than 1 cup size of augmentation. I recommend you contact a Board certified plastic surgeon in your area who performs breast augmentation with fat grafting to see if you are a good candidate and some representative results.

Can I Inject Fat into my Hips to Even out my Body For an Hourglass Shape?

I have a 29" waist and love handles that are 38" at the fullest part. When the love handle curve ends, the line goes in and then goes out for 42.5" hips. It looks like a triple curve on my body. 1) Is there a way I can just get fat injected into the line that goes back in so that way the love handle curve extends into my hips, making it look like an hourglass shape? 2) Does the fat need to be injected just at the sides or around the whole body? What is the procedure called, if it does exist?

A: Brazilian Butt Lift/Fat Grafting to your hips

Hey Xmika
It sounds to me as though you have a pretty large discrepancy
between your hips and love handles. Adding to that the fact that you say it curves in beneath your love handles before reaching your widest point of your hips, makes it a very large discrepancy!  I think this would be best treated with a combination of liposuction to reduce your hips somewhat, as well as fat grafting into the more narrow area just below your love handles.  This is typically what I do when performing the Brazilian Butt Lift.  This provides a beautiful hourglass shape to your figure.

Am I a Candidate For Fat Transfer in One Breast Only? I Have Uneven Breasts and Already Had Encapsulated Implants Removed.

I am 42 5'2" & about 130 pounds. I had breast implants 20 yrs ago. They encapsulated and caused me lots of complications. I got them replaced & removed 4 years later. I now have uneven breast - 1 A cup & 1 AA cup & they are different shapes now. My question is -since Im not a candidate for implants, would you recommend fat grafting for me if I only want to inject fat into the smaller breast (AA) so that it can be the same size & shape as the (A) cup? How much fat would I need? thanks!

A: Fat Graft to the breast

from your history, you seem to have some problems with the implants which were removed, resulting in different shape and size.

you have two options

1: Breast implants under the muscle with the use of acellular matrix to reduce the incidence of capsular contracture.

2: Fat Transfer, requires expertise, and multiple procedures. and a full understanding of the procedure and all the questions surrounding the fat transfer to the breast.

3: Do nothing
