HI,I had WLS and lost 120 lbs, feel great! I'm 5'10 tall and weigh 198 lbs with 25 more to be ideal wt. I workout daily, cardio & weight training but cannot seem to get rid of my outer thigh area which is disproportionately bigger than rest of my body. I wear a medium on top and XL pant 18! As I continue on my weight loss if I lose more weight on face will lose buccal fat now!:( Thinking of liposuction of saddlebags at this point in a series.. with lower body lift after? So discouraged your op?
I have seen disproportionately large hips and thighs after weight loss. This is a complex area with focused options, depending on your presentation. Liposuction might be an option, but more often, a surgery skin removal is necessary. Two stages may be necessary, with liposuction to deflate the tissues, then followed by skin removal. I recommend you schedule a visit with a Board-certified plastic surgeon to get a better sense of what you need after history and physical to provide more full information.
I am 50 years old, lost 80 pounds over several years through low-carb, and have been 15 pounds shy of "normal" BMI for over 6 months now (155 pounds at 5'3"). Looking at my pics, though, I sure don't feel like I'm anywhere close to normal and wonder if this is "close enough" for good results. I'm looking for less abdomen, less saggy inner thighs, and "shorter" breasts (not bigger, no implants). Is my wish list of procedures appropriate for me at this time or is more weight loss necessary?
You are near your ideal body weight. The pictures posted seems to you will benifit mostly from abdominoplasty, liposuction of the abdomen, and flanks and back. Then aat a second surgery will do the breast lift.
Leave the thigh lift to the end
I had an operation in Mexico and it went bad. I lost 180 pounds and had a bodylift, and my chest. I almost lost my nipples. it makes me cry and I'm 28 and never have been able to take my shirt off. I will send photos to anyone who can fix the scar tissue aroundbmy nipples. please. its been six years and I just dream of being normal
Most probably the scars can be improved on. The picture posted is not clear. need an examination to determine the scar, the laxity of skin and the nipples. It looks that you already have lost the nipple at least on the pictures you posted
