I had my son a year ago and I hope to get back to my pre-pregnancy body if possible. I gained 36 lbs and lost most of it except for 2 lbs. The extra weight is stuck on my upper and lower abdomen, and flanks. I didn't get stretch marks but my skin seems a little looser than before. I wouldn't trade this tummy for a big scar from a tummy tuck unless it was my best option. Should I go for liposuction or would it leave me flabby? I was also considering Cryolipo and thermage which are non invasive.
Many patients ask if they would benefit more from liposuction or a tummy tuck. From the picture shown, liposuction would be the better approach. A tummy tuck leaves a large scar and is better for those with a serious loss of elasticity, or those who need muscle tightening. Cryo-lipo, or cool sculpting may also help but would require several treatments.
I am 30 years old with heavy eyelids. They are genetic - both parents and several aunts and uncles have had upper Blepharoplasty.
I have a high brow but kind of hooded lids. One doctor described my eyes as having an Asian quality, even though they are huge and blue. A Brow lift would definitely not work. I am hesitant to go under the knife at my age and a doctor recently suggested Thermage. Is this a good idea in order to hold off maybe five years on the surgery?
Thermage is for the patients that lose the tissue elasticity . You are young and your described sagging is not age related and Thermage will not help. I do offer both surgical and and thermage. I can give you better answer if you send pictures with eyes open. This will help me to see mount of excess skin in your upper eyelid.
Please explain to me how people have lost fat after Thermage. If they have the newest tip, would that prevent hollow cheeks that I have read about?
The new tip is much more effective and also is not as powerful as the older tips. The pain level from the new thermage is minimal and you do not need any topical or anesthesia. I had this tx done six months ago As a doctor and also as a patient I been happy with Thermage.
