Other Mini Tummy Tuck Methods?

I am 23 years old and have 2 kids. I just had my second child 3 months ago. I am done having children. I still have a little weight to lose and I will lose it all by next year when I am ready for the procedure. I have a little loose skin on the belly--not much really. It's just not tight anymore. When I pull my skin down like in the traditional mini tummy tuck, it does not look right. Are there other methods? What would you suggest I do?

A: You will need full tummy tuck

From your pictures and the your description of the abdominal tissue, I would recommend full tummy tuck. You have stretch marks above the belly button. You do not have much fatty tissue but a lot of extra skin which make minimal procedures like Thermage, laser lipo and Titan ineffective.

Full Tummy Tuck or Mini Tummy Tuck for Flat Belly?

I want to make sure I get great results. I want a beautiful flat belly. I want to be able to wear my sexy two piece bikinis again. Which between full tummy tuck and mini tummy tuck should I get done? I am 5'3 and I weigh 113 lbs.

A: full tummy tuck

I agree with my fellow plastic surgeons and recommend full tummy tuck. You also have an umbilical hernia which can be fixed at the same time.

Procedure to Repair Torn Mini Tummy Tuck Sutures?

I'm 12 wks post op mini TT and muscle repair and back to normal, full activity since week 8. At 2 wks post op, I sneezed very hard and felt a strong, sharp pain in upper abs and then soreness.

I questioned the surgeon back at 2 wks about tearing and he said "unlikely". Now a bulge in the area is very noticeable and the surgeon says I "probably" did tear and will need a redo. What is the BEST & least invasive procedure possible to fix this problem? I'm thin, very active and always have been.

A: Will need surgical repair

You have a bulge and this can be from the suture getting loose or repair was not extened high. The way your explain ,it is likely that you had torn repair and surgical repair will fix the problem. From the picture looks like that you do not have incision around the belly button.
