Hi I have read that Water Assisted Lipo helps fat to survive better than Smart Lipo for Breast Fat Transfer. Is this true? Also, does the addition of stem cell or PRP also help? Or do none of these things really matter. Thank you for your time!!
The fat that been treated with laser lipo(smart lipo) is not good for fat grafting because of the lipolysis. The Fat that harvested by the water jet system is good quality and can be used for the fat grafting to the breast. The main issue for the fat grafting to the breast is the surgeon's experience and his/her technique of harvesting,preparing and injection. The other main issue is the patient selection and indications for the fat grafting. I would suggest that you do your homework. I had liposuction done 8.25.11. When it was done I swelled up about 3 sizes bigger. It has gone down now ( 5 months later) but I the same size I was be for but little more shapely in hips. Is this normal. I went for a yearly to family doctor and found out I had edema (pitting in legs) Do you think the liposuction caused it? I am having a secondary liposuction surgery to correct the unsatisfactory results and am very concerned about having it done.
You were not a good candidate for liposuction alone and that is why you are did not achieve the result you expecting. You were and are a good candidate for tummy tuck. You have separation of the rectus muscle and revision liposuction is waste of time.
Dear doctors, I'm a 23 y-o woman, am not an english speaker so my apologies for my mistakes. my body was well proportionned but i wanted a lippo, and i had it in France 4y ago.The results were aweful huge bumps,assymetries, and he removed fat from hipps evan if i didn't asked for. He tried to fix it but it went worse, lots bumps sagging skin dimples on all my skin like cellulite. I need fat graft on my hips but my new doc said it's not possible because of prev lippo. what can i do? hipp impnlts?
Please send picture for better evaluation. You may have too much scaring that would require multiple fat grafting sessions . The limiting factor will be the availability of the fat to be harvested
