I had botox between my eyes (frown lines) and crows feet two days ago. First timer. Between the eyes looks great and has given me a slight brow lift. But the crows feet injections are limiting my smile. My cheeks bulge & bunch when I smile and my smile seems to "stop" now without extending as broadly as before. Natural contour below my cheeks is gone w/ flat affect to the outer 1/3 of my face. While the crows feet are gone, so is my nice big and broad smile. Doesn't look like me. Suggestions?
First of all, it would be unusual for Botox injections into the glabellar and crow's feet areas to affect your smile. But, if this is the case, there is little or nothing to until the effects of the Botox have dissipated. The Botox effects may last 4-6 months.
My main issues to which I resorted to getting Botox was my glabella "11" lines. in my particular case, its really "1" since one muscle is predominantly stronger than the other. it took 35 units to finally get the area frozen. i am happy with the results however, i still see a "line" in the area. its not a deep wrinkle at all... it just looks like a shadow of where the line was is still there a bit. granted, when i grown, that mark is still there.any ideas how i can lighten that mark???
Botox alone may not totally eradicate glabellar frown lines, especially if they are quite deep. Botox only paralyzes the muscle which create the lines. If the lines are long-standing and/or deep, you may need to have them treated with a filler such as Restyl;ane in addition to the Botox.
