What's the Best Moisturizing Cream to Use After Laser Resurfacing?
I had CO2 laser resurfacing 10 days ago. I love the new and emerging skin, however, I don't know what everyday moisturizing cream (with sunscreen) is recommended post surgery. Any suggestions?
A: Laser resurfacing post-op moisturizing creamWe recommend our post laser patients to use Elta MD-UV Facial SPF 30+. It is a light moisturizing cream that provides moisture and UVA/UVB protection. It is for all skin types, especially moderate to dry.
Swelling and Loose Skin Around Belly Button After Liposuction
I am 7 weeks post op from Liposuction and scar revision. Swelling has gone down a lot, but I still have lots of swelling around belly button, and loose skin above belly button. When can I expect the swelling around the belly button to go down? Also, I still need the support of the compression garment. Is this normal at this point? I tried some control top spandex panties but after four hours I was ready to get back into the garment.
A: Swelling from liposuctionLipo swelling can take 4-6 months before you see the final results. It is very normal to still need the support of the compression garment. More patients will wean themselves from the garment after 6 weeks. I suggest to begin sleeping with the garment.
Liposuction for a Heart Bypass Patient? I am rethinking about the Tummy Tuck procedure, but I'm still not happy with my shape. Would Liposuction be less invasive for my condition? Is it possible under local anesthesia?
For those who haven't read my last question, I had a triple bypass heart surgery four years ago. I am having a stress test this Monday to see if I can go for surgery; but from the advices here, it seems it's not a good option. A: Heart and LipoWe perform most of our liposuction cases in our accredited surgical suite under IV sedation. Surgeons may suggest general anesthesia with hospitalization. Heart conditions would require medical clearance from a cardiologist. Evaltuation by the surgeon is necessary to determine if you are a candidate for lipo.
