What are the important information I should know about Mini facelift, and what can and should I expect from the results?
It is not a procedure for every person with concerns about aging of the lower face and neck. For the most part a mini-lift is done in our practice on the patient below the age of 50 who has very limited sagging of the front of the neck. We also use mini-lifts on those who have already had a facelift in the past and simply want a little tightening of the lower face and the area below the chin. In point of fact there is not a ton of difference between a lower face and neck lift and a mini-lift except the more extensive incision in the hairline behind the ear!
How well does fat grafting work to fill in the hollow area underneath your eyes, and lines down the sides of your nose and mouth?
I am interested in having a few things done, I have lost about 30 lbs since January, and now I’m noticing this hollow look underneath my eyes, not too deep lines from the nose running to the mouth, and a little bit of lose skin underneath my chin.
I only weigh 115 so it’s noticeable and I have a few acne scars that seem to disappear when I gently pull my skin back so I’m wondering if a mini lift would help. Can the procedures to fix all these things be done under local sedation versus anesthesia?
Thanks for any help!
From the picture I think you are on target. It appears that you have deflation of the mid-face ie loss of volume and would benefit with filling using either fat or sculptra. Also a mini-facelift would also be helpful although I think I might want to consider this as a separate secondary procedure 3 months later.
