What Procedure Would Be Best for my Lips? (photo)

I am a 23 year old female who is interested in getting my lips done. I feel like i have a great lip shape when I apply pressure to my upper lip. (You can see in the pictures below what I am talking about) I feel its a shame that all that shape is actually covered up! I think botox may make me have duck lips.. would you suggest a lip lift? and how much would it be to fix this? I have also noticed it makes my nose look kind of large when I do this? Suggestions? Thanks !

A: Lip Enhancement

I think you might benefit from the "lip Lift" procedure.  This should only be done by a surgeon with signiifcant experience in performing this particular procedure.

Options for Defining a 'Flat' Upper Lip

I have a problem with my lips. The bottom one is fine but the top lip is pretty flat and has no shape to it. It does not have the youthful/sexy indent or definition. Basically it is almost as flat as my bottom lip. Is there a surgery to permanently change this....I am content with the size of my lips but not the shape. Would I be a canidate for a small lip implant?

A: Injectable Fillers the Best Option for Lip Enhancement

I have tried all of the different methods including the use of permanent implants, surgical augmentation with lip lifting and lip advancement, and use of fat or fascia.  Yet I still believe use of HA's (Hylauronic Acid fillers) is still the very best option in the right hands.  Make sure that your injector is an experienced aesthetic physician, has a good eye for beauty, and has all of the "tools" in their "tool box".

Is Silikon 1000 Safe to Use?

What are the risks?

A: Really depends where you are using it

While silicone is prermanent the disadvantage is that it is very permanent.  In other words if you do not like it then there is really no cure.  On the other hand the hyaluronic acid fillers like Perlane and Juvederm can be reversed.  It is for this reason that they remain my fillers of choice.
