I am interested in lip filler to enhance and help even out my lips. Also, I am interested in a fuller top lip with more "lift" when viewed by my profile view. Can these be accomplished successfully with my lip shape without creating "trout pout"?
Yes! Discuss the subtle changes that you are interested in with your injector. If you have a lot of "gummy" show on the upper teeth when you smile you may want to drop your upper lip as well with a little BOTOX. Patients love that. Find an injector that you trust. Good luck!
I had lip augmentation (Restylane) 4 weeks ago and now have this "ducky" look in my upper lip. I know that restylane can last for up to 6 months. I definitely don't want to walk around looking this way for such a long time. Is there any way to improve the look of my upper lip? I massage it every day using a massager with heat and cold. Is there anything else I can do? Thank you.
One of the benefits of hyaluronic acids is that they reabsorb. If you want your old lips back right away you can try Hyaluronidase injections. Sometimes the "duckiness" of the upper mouth comes from too much injection into the philtrum (white part above the lip). If you think this is the case, you could consider erasing the Restylane from the philtrum first and see if that improves your look. Discuss your options with your physician. They will be able to give you your best suggestions. Good luck!
my lips and laugh lines look even worst than before i got clear gel liquid injected to them! looks like the liquid is uneven and spread. I also got rash/like around my mouth in every place where the syringe was injected, am i allergic? how soon can i get hyaluronidase injected and can i also get it in my laugh lines?
Go back. Most injectors want to see the results of their injections. If you think you are having problems they will likely want to know that as well. Your physician will know and be able to offer you different options to help you attain better results. Good luck!
