Since my insurance wont pay, I cant afford to get all of it fixed on my own. What should I get fixed immediately and is there anything I can do to help. I have a hard time getting out of my bed due to lack of muscles in my stomach. My back hurts all the time since its doing the work that my stomach muscles should do. I get infections due to the flap being so long and it rubbing. I have done physical therapy and they said until I get my muscles fixed, they cant help. I am lost and needing relief.
Unfortunately, the days have long past when insurance will cover repair of a rectus diastasis or midline muscle separation. While this is an integral part of most tummy tuck surgeries, it is not considered a medically necessary procedure unless there is a documented umbilical hernia through the muscle separation. You will have to seek a tummy tuck with muscle tightening done as a cosmetic procedure.
Is It Recomendad to Have a Umbilicoplastiy if I Plan to Get Prenant?
Since the greatest stretching of skin and abdominal tissues with pregnancy is centered around the umbilicus, a pre-pregnancy umbilicoplasty may likely end up in a wasted effort. You may also find that after another pregnancy what you may need could change from an umbilicoplasty to some form of a tummy tuck. Wait until your abdominal area is a 'stable target' before changing it surgically.
I am a 40 y/o/f having a Tummy Tuck and a BA and lift - I am hoping to go from a sagging C cup to a BOLD D or DD - I am unsure. Do you feel a TT will be benificial for me. I drive those big ole Haulpack trucks. I can book for 3 weeks time off is this enough. I dont plan on losing anymore weight just the apron Also, where can I buy the tummy compression bandages and special bras, as I will be on my own and really want to have these things prior to my travelling (I live way up north!) Thank you
The time that you have planned to be off from work for a tummy tuck, given your occupation, is not adequate. Given the very strenuous nature of your work you will really need 4 weeks at a minimum and more ideally six weeks for an adequate recovery. While a tummy tuck will make a huge difference in your body shape, it is not an easy operation to recover from when you consider having to return to a very physical job.
