Does Restylane Injections Hurt? I am only 27 and get a fair amount of sleep but my dark circles have become developed into slight hollowness. I have a great fear of needles going in me that I don't even have my ears pierced. Can you be put to sleep while getting or can you close your eyes while they are injecting near your eyes?

They really aren't too bad. I have performed thousands of facial filler injections, (and been on the receiving end of them too).

Most fillers do have numbing medication mixed with them. In addition numbing cream can be used. Also numbing nerve blocks are very helpful for some areas of the face.

Finally, it is often the apprehension that is the worst part. If you think this might be the case, come with a friend. You can have a mild sedative tablet, and your friend can drive you home. Once you have done it once, you will probably find it is not anywhere as hard as you might have imagined.

Can Restylane Be Used to Even out Jaw Line? can restylane be used to even out jaw line

A: Restylane CAN even out jaw line, but other products might be better

Those jowls that sneak up on us can cause an unflattering sag in our jaw lines. Surgical lifts may be an option, but it is amazing what careful placement of a filler can do in mere minutes. The jaw can straighten and the jowls seem to disappear.

Although Restylane will work, it is usually best in more superficial areas of the face. Radiesse, or Sculptra, placed deeply may give a longer lasting result and provide more firmness and structure to the jawline.

Restylane for Cellulite? Have you used Restylane for cellulite? How were the results?

A: Injectable Fillers Not A Treatment For Cellulite

A truly adequate treatment for cellulite remains elusive. Injectable fillers of any composition are not a solution either. Even if it could make the skin appearance better, the volume of filler and its cost would make it impractical.
