Can You Exercise After Botox or Will It Decrease the Results
Conventional thinking has been to avoid exercise for a few hours, to theoretically minimize any chance of it moving.
Having said that, to the best of my knowledge there are no studies showing it is a concern. Furthermore we have had plenty of anectodal reports from patients who see no interference from exercise.
Compared to long-term migraines medications, is botox an economical option? What is the success rate of botox for migraines?
Botox can be very effective for the type of migraines that has a peripheral trigger as its cause. These occur in the occipital, frontal and temporal areas. They make up the minority of migraine headache types. The cost of Botox injections for them varies based on how many trigger points are injected and how many units are used at each injection site. Usually at least two trigger points are injected but it can only be one or as many two or three. Costs can range from $300 to $800. Botox for some migraine patients can produce near miraculous relief, even if it is only temporary. (three to four months)
Im getting married next month and decided do botox in glabella. Ive read that is safer because there is minimal risk of eyebrow drop or any other complications. Does injection of botox in glabella can cause any major complications, Im concern as Im getting married and want look my best.
While eyelid droop after the injection of Botox into the glabella is a possibility, it is fairly rare in that area. That risk is greater when injections are done across the top of the eyebrows. If you go to an experienced injector and limit the Botox injections to the glabellar area, you should be just fine for your wedding day.
