Childbirth can not only significantly change our lives, but our bodies, too. The physical stress of growing new life can leave the abdominal muscles and skin loose and cause breasts to look less supple. Many women choose to combat these and more postpartum changes with mommy makeover plastic surgery.
Mommy makeover surgery is actually a term that refers to several aesthetic procedures designed to help restore a mother’s shape, performed in conjunction with one another to cut down on overall recovery time. Frequently, these procedures include tummy tuck surgery and breast augmentation, but mommy makeover surgery may also feature liposuction, a breast lift, a Brazilian butt lift, and other treatments. Breast Surgery
There are many reasons individuals consider their breast enhancement options. Many simply are dissatisfied with the size and shape of their natural breasts, and are hoping to increase their size or improve their symmetry with breast implants. Others still are displeased with the way their breasts have changed over the years—maybe with shifts in weight or after breastfeeding—and are interested in breast augmentation or a breast lift.

Abdominoplasty
So many women (particularly mothers) and men who have undergone weight loss know the frustration of excess skin in their midsection. I perform tummy tuck surgery, also known as abdominoplasty, for Indianapolis-area patients who want to achieve a flat, contoured, and smooth abdomen.
Undergoing a full tummy tuck entails having excess skin and fat in the abdominal area removed and weak abdominal muscles tightened and repaired. The incision is made just below the bikini line, and the procedure can remove stretch marks on the lower abdomen.
I also perform mini-tummy tucks, which remove excess skin and fat just below your belly button and come with a shorter recovery period. I will review these options with you during your consultation and recommend the best choice for your situation.
My patients find that a contoured midsection improves their overall silhouette, and they report looking and feeling better in their clothes (especially during swimsuit season) after their tummy tuck.
