When i'm looking at surgeons' before and after photos, what should I be looking for specifically?
You should note contour improvement and volume change.
Likewise, waviness or skin irregularties should be absent or extremely minimal.
Also, improvement in terms of asymmetry should be visible.
I had Liposuction on my inner knees 3 months ago. The surgeon says all the bruising has gone but I'm left with a deep shadow that still looks like deep bruising in this area. Will it go away?
Discoloration as you describe is not uncommon and typically gradually resolves. Some may be residual bruise or alternatively post inflammatory hyperpigmentation which may be of a more permanent nature. Either way, ask the surgeon and be prepared to allow an additional 3-6 months.
I had Liposuction of the abdomen about a week ago. I now have a big pouch above my pubic region. Will that go down?
This is fairly common and is a result of gravity and the descent of edema(tissue fluid). Often times this is exaggerated with the use of a compression garment, which is otherwise necessary for the areas of liposuction. Allow time and all should resolve.
