Is Hyaluronic Acid Absorbable by the Skin (Topical)?

I've read the molecules are to large to penetrate the epidermis.

A: Hyaluronic acid usually injected

Hyaluronic acid is a normal substance found in the body and as such there is normal turnover. It is broken down by hyaluronidase (an enzyme). Not sure why you would put it on your skin; it would be an expensive skin cream! Good Luck!

What's the Maximum Number of Facelifts You Can Have?

How many Facelifts does one get in life (without looking like Joan Rivers)? I've heard the max is 3 to 4. Do mini facelifts count? Hopefully they're only a 1/2! Thanks in advance for all posted answers!

A: No maximum number of face lifts per se

There is no maximum number of facelifts that one can have. However, each additional surgery can increase the possibility of problems, such as hair line distortion or having the wind-swept look. Often with secondary facelifts, little skin is removed; rather, more tightening is performed on the deeper layers of tissue (SMAS). Be sure to have a honest discussion with your surgeon about your goals. Good luck!

Safe to Get Lipodissolve While Pregnant?

I'm in my first trimester and I wanted to get Lipodissolve to slim down my thighs. Is this OK to do? Is it safe to have Lipodissolve if you're pregnant?

A: No Lipodissolve during pregnancy

I generally recommend avoiding any unnecessary medications or chemicals during pregnancy, but I especially would not recommend Lipodissolve, in that it is not FDA approved.

Eat well and stay active as directed by your obstetrician. Enjoy your pregnancy and worry about your thighs after the birth of your beautiful girl or boy.
