Will my Implant Drop Into the Pocket?
I am 3 weeks post op from having a breast augmentation. I was a small B and they were low and very loose. I am 5'9 and went with saline under the muscle, I had a crescent lift on the right breast which was my larger breast.
I had 550cc in the right breast and 600cc in the left breast. My concern is that the right breast is very RECTANGULAR, and the implant is obviously high, when I bend over my saggy small breast still dangles and my implant is in my chest wall. Will it drop into the pocket?
A: Breast Implant "dropping"It is typicall for implants to be high immediately after surgery and will typically take about 3-4months before you notice a "drop" that everyone refers to. The swelling is mostly gone by then and the tissues have had time to stretch and loosen and the implant appears and is lower than right after surgery. At 3wks you are too close to surgery to make any final judgements on the outcome. Discuss your concerns with your surgeon and be patient.
Uni-Boobs After Breast Implants - Options?
My Breast Are Too Close, Look Like Uni-boobs After Breast Implants. Is There Anyway to Fix?
A: Breast implants too closeHaving symmastia or breast implants that are too close or touching each other is a difficult problem to fix. It will require surgery. Common methods are to create a new pocket and/or use a skin or dermal substitute to separate the implants and place them back in a normal position. This is something to discuss with your board certified plastic surgeon as any revision breast surgery has higher risks.
Should I Choose High Profile Implants or Moderate+?
I`ve been consulting three different doctors, but thay seem to disagree what is the right implant for me. I`m 5,6", 124lbs, ribcage about 29" and breast width +/- 4,7" (some assymetry), hips 32". I want nice, sporty looking boobs, not too big but definately not too wide or flat. Also I don`t wanna look like I`m all boobs. I`d like to achieve som nice projection, while maintaining a quite natural and perky look. I`ve been considering +/- 325cc. Thanks for all help I can get:)
A: Choosing an implant profileThe implant profile is not as important as the volume. The high profile implant has gained popularity recently but it is secondary to choosing an appropriate volume for your chest size and skin dimensions. Typically high profile implants are chosen for patients who would like to have as much volume as possible but have a narrow chest diameter. Whether a Mod+ or High profile implant is good for you is something determined after a full consulation and taking measurements. Having a so-called "natural" look is very dependent on not having a too large of an implant - no matter what the profile is. Discuss this with your surgeon.
