I'm 29 years old and have deep vertical lines between eyebrows. I went to a dermatologist not long ago, and pointed it out. She said some overweight people accumulate fat above the eyebrows, and that maybe if I lost weight the lines would diminish. She doesn't offer fillers, so maybe that's why she said that. But my lines are deep "11s". They are embarrassing, and I'm still nursing my son once a day so Botox seems scary. Would Juvederm help? I hear it's safe as it's naturally in our skin.
Your 11's, can be caused by contraction of the muscles between your eyebrows (glabellar muscles) or from shrinkage of tissues. Botox or Dysport can be used at first to see if the wrinkles improve. If the wrinkles do not improve, then a filler can be used. I would wait until you are done nursing before undergoing any treatment.
Can You Exercise After Botox or Will It Decrease the Results
There is no evidence that the effects of Botox or Dysport are reduced if a patient exercises on the same day of treatment.
I never restrict patient activities after their injections, since no effect on their results will occur.
I have a very plump bottom lip and a very noticeable smaller top lip and I would like to get Botox injected in only my top lip, being 18 would you recommend that I wait ?
1. If you want to plump up your upper- lip without any injections, try a few Exilis treatments. Exilis is the new radio-frequency device that can be used on the lip area to stimulate a little collagen, and plump up your lips. You can repeat this treatment periodically to maintain your fuller lips-- and you don't have to worry about duck-lips or any needles. This treatment tightens the skin above the upper-lip which will pull up the pink of your lip and allow a little more-lip show.
2. A longer-lasting solution is a filler such as Juvederm, and if done correctly it can look very natural.
3. You can combine these treatments. Treat with Exilis first and then fill with Juvederm.
