If I Get an Aerola Reduction, is the Scar Very Noticeable?

I am latina, olive skin tone and tan easily. Will the aerola reduction scar be very noticeable? I seem to heal well based on my previous breast augmentation with was through crease...I just really still want my aerolas reduced. They are so big.

A: Nipple Areolar reduction can leave noticeable scars

The acars around the areolar typically heal very well and the scars tend to fade with time. It is good to hear that you have had two breast scars that have healed nicely. I always recommend asking to see scars that the surgeon has performed so that you can judge for yourself.

How Much Does It Cost for Flat Nipples to Be Fixed?

Im 16 years old and i am so insecure about my breast and nipples because 1. the are really small and 2. my left nipple is flat and only protrudes when cold or stimulated and the right one is kinda big. they are not very proportionate at all. and i want to know how much it would cost to get breast implants and my nipples corrected to look normal. thanks

A: The cost for nipple correction surgery is variable.

The cost for the correction of flat nipples depends on whether you choose to have local anesthesia or twilight or general anesthesia. The surgeons fee is usually 750-1500 per nipple depending on the complexity of the procedure and the followup needed. Costs obviously increase when the procedure is done in a surgicenter or hospital. when general anesthesia  or twilight anesthesia is requested by the patient there is an additional charge by that provider.

Can Flat Nipples That Were Once Inverted Be Corrected with Surgery?

I was born with inverted nipples that I've been highly self conscious about. I had nipple reconstruction done to fix them, but now they are just flat. Is there anything that can be done to have erect or semi-erect nipples?

A: Correcting flat nipples.

Flat nipples that were once inverted can typically be corrected with surgery that will help create scar tissue between the inside walls of the nipple when it is erect. Unfortunately the nipple typically does not become flat after the surgery but instead always stays erect.
