Since I am quite old and have lots of wrinkles will it be worth my while and how successful will the results be and how long will they last? Kelly
At 76 it really depends on the goals we set and the quality of the tissue. Chronologic age is irrelevant to the plan. A detailed assessment is the ultimate means to deciding where we will go.
You do describe a great deal of wrinkles as well as other aging parameters. Fine wrinkles will not be corrected nor treated by a Facelift. Treatment of those fine wrinkles will require an aggressive chemical peel or laser resurfacing, which is not done at the same time.

At 11-days post-surgery, I developed a hematoma on my right cheek. Due to the hematoma, my R cheek felt rigid. Massage has helped to soften the tissue. Now 5-weeks post-surgery, I still have some lumps/bruising. My L cheek is plumper vs. my R. Did the hematoma cause lower fat "take"? Before the fat completes the process of developing a blood supply, is there anything to be done to lower the viability on the L (for symmetry)? I don't want to go through any future fat grafting procedures.
At this point I would wait a few months as things change and healing continues to evolve. Your biggest mistake would be going back in too soon to try to resolve something that is still evolving.

My mom is 61 years old and she had a complete face lift and double chin removal, its been 4 months since she had the surgery and she still is very swollen and her neck is very stiff she can't turn her head at all. Some days she wakes up a bit less swollen and then get swollen again, she also says that she feels that her face gets very hot and it itches. Is all these normal??
It is very possible that some swelling may persist for months after a facelift. Elevation is essential to resolving the swelling faster. Try to refrain from increased salt intake as well. Your mother should also take an active part in increasing her neck movement with gentle active execises in this area.
