if I have facial sutures can I have thermage ?
I assume you have had recent facial surgery. If you still have sutures in place, I wouldn't recommend Thermage at this time.
I would wait 6 weeks after the sutures are out. By that time, the wound would have regained the maximum of its strength.
Make sure you are treated by an experienced Board Certified Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon.
I have had Restylane put in several locations on my face. If it weren't for the fillers, I would have a substantial amount of sagging under the eyes and through the cheeks even though I am only 36 years old. I'm beginning to see sagging at my jowl line, at the sides of my chin. Wondering if Thermage is advisable for someone who has already invested quite a bit in fillers with good results. Does Thermage complement fillers?
We have treated many patients with Thermage after they have had Restylane, Juvederm ot Radiesse injections.
Although we cannot quantify the results, most patients are very satisfied with the combination.
As indicated by some of the other experts, the fillers replace volume and Thermage tightens the skin.
Always make sure that you are treated by an experienced, Board Certified Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon.
I'm 62 years old and had Face Threading 2 years ago. Considering doing Thermage, Pelleve, or Ulthera. are any of them good to do at my age and is it ok to do because i already had threading. i have sagging at the jaw and nasolabial folds but am afraid to do real facelift. do i go to a dermo. or plastic surg.
I assume you had a threadlift.
Even though I believe it would be OK to use Thermage, I would be careful on a face that has had Threadlift, because Radiofrequency can cause an increase of temperature in the presence of metal. You may get some burns.
Ulthera works by ultrasound and does not have this disadvantage.
If you still want Thermage,I recommend that you get a couple of test areas treated, especially where there is underlying metal, before having the entire face treated.
However, I recommend the Ulthera in your case.
And yes, both Thermage and Ulthera can improve sagging jaws.
