How Soon Can I Use Retin-A on my Nose After Having Open Rhinoplasty and Nasal Tip Plasty?
Retin-A is safe after rhinoplasty though you might want to wait two to three weeks to let the skin sensitivity settle down. It will help as a mild exfoliant though you should use a sunscreen with it as well. Start two days a week at first and increase as your skin permits to avoid irritation or dryness.
Best of luck,

The scarring is not a fresh scar. I would have to say its from over 4 yrs ago. Is this a safe product to be putting on this area? Im so afraid to apply it to this area is case it looks worse.
Retin A improves skin quality and sun damage and is safe for scars. In most studies there is no antioxidant with better rejuvenation properties for the skin than Retin A.
Yes, I will be using Retin a for my fine lines. I have heard many different things. First, fine lines will dissapear, fine lines will be improved. I am looking to entirely eliminate fine lines. Will Retin A help me do this? I am 31.
Retin-A can improve fine lines in the face. It does this by compacting the skin. It wil lnot improve dynamic (smile) lines. Consider microdrmabrasion or Clarisonics Pro, a "home microdermabrasion" system available at designated physician offices.
