Breast Cancer with a Double Masectomy and Reconstruction - Skokie, IL

I chose Dr Lu by asking all my Drs. who they would choose, if I was their wife. It was unanimous from the cancer surgeon, my family Dr and the oncologist. Dr. Lu's office got me in for my consultation within 24 hours. Dr Lu spent a lot of time explaining my choices. He worked around my chemo. He made me laugh when I thought laughter was impossible. He was caring. His focus was always on me, his patient. He is an excellent surgeon.. I couldn't be happier with the results. I wish there were more Doctors like Dr Lu.

Breast Augmentation
Dr Lu was recommended to me by my Ob-Gyn office in Lake Forest. I was truly impressed with the experience I had throughout the entire breast aug process...from consult to follow ups! Very easy to contact via cell/email/text. I would definitely recommend Dr. Lu to anyone looking for a great breast augmentation surgeon. He is honest, caring and treats you like you were family!

Dr. Lu made my experience as easy as possible. I wasn't in pain and I am healing very well. He is a very skilled surgeon. Dr. Lu is not only an extremely talented plastic surgeon he is also an exceptional compassionate and caring individual. He stay in constant contact with me and was there immediately if and when I needed to talk to him. Unlike other docs that I conferred with, he is humble and not about the money. All in all, this was a wonderful experience for me and that's something when you think what I had done!

Dr. Lu was recommended by a surgeon who has worked with many plastic surgeons and says Dr. Lu is the best. I don't know of any other Dr who gives you his private cell phone number and calls or texts you right back. Dr. Lu is a perfectionist. I had reconstruction with a revision so far. He is very concerned for his patients and works to give you the look you want. Plastic surgery especially with reconstruction is a process, not a one time fixall. Dr. Lu will do what you need and want. He listens to you and works with you. He is wonderful and you work with him not a staff of nurses like some Drs. And if there are unhappy patients, maybe its the patient attitude and unrealistic expectations of plastic surgery, not the Drs skills.
