Q: Is hyaluronic acid absorbable by the skin (topical)? asked by JulieKokesch Beverly Hills, CA
A:
Hyaluronic acid is a normal substance found in the body and as such there is normal turnover. It is broken down by hyaluronidase (an enzyme). Not sure why you would put it on your skin; it would be an expensive skin cream! Good Luck!
