I think my eyes and eyebrows are asymmetric. Also, my eyes seem to be droopy. Can you please confirm whether I am right by looking at the pictures? If yes, what is the best way to fix it. Please note: 1. I am in middle of loosing weight. I started at 215 pounds and now am at 182 lbs. 2. My glasses needs to be replaced. My current glasses power on the right and left side is 1 point lower then it should.
Yes, your left eyebrow is slightly lower. Non surgical techniques include grooming of the left eyebrow from the lower portion and grooming of the right from the upper portion to create an optical illusion of more symmetry. Botulinum toxin could be used to slightly lower your right and minimize downward depression of the left. Botox or Surgery may not offer the degree of precision you seek
I've heard of Botox being able to help Migraines and then this morning I heard that people who have had a Forehead Lift surgery have also reported less migraines. Have any of the doctors on this site received the same feedback from their Forehead Lift patients? Is it true?
The Plastic Surgeon with the most experience with this technique is Dr. Guyuron in Ohio. The procedure is more than just a forehead lift. It requires release of muscles and nerves that may be involved including corrugators, procerus and the zygomatico -facial and zygomatico-temporal nerves. To the best of my knowedge it is still being evaluated by the NIH as a surgical treatment for migraines but has shown promise in a select group of individuals.
I am in mid 20's (female) but already have issues with horizontal forehead wrinkles/folds, very apparent even with the slightest effort to look up.
Today, I met with my plastic surgeon (who performed Asian blepharoplasty on me few years ago with very satisfactory/natural results), and he recommended Forehead lift for lasting results.
I did some research later and found out what he explained to me was "coronal Forehead lift," which seemed unnecessarily invasive especially for a patient in her 20's. I called his office, and apparently he does not perform Endoscopic Forehead lift. Is that normal, should I find another doctor?
Some surgeons no longer offer endoscopic brow lifts as they feel the improvements are not as dramatic or long lasting as an open brow lift. In your case, a brow lift may not be the best solution. Ask your surgeon if you can try Botox to eliminate the forehead wrinkles.
