He really knows what he is doing and I would recommend him anyone. The women he had working in his office for very helpful with all my questions and were very professional. If you are thinking about getting any plastic surgery done I would highly recommend Dr. Shah.

I chose Dr. Shah after years of debate on whether it would be worth it to get a revision, and finally meeting with 3 facial plastic surgeons in various cities. Although Dr. Shah is young, his training in facial plastics, co-authors and mentors, number of publications, and comprehensive website as well as the detailed reviews on realself convinced me that he would be the best choice given my location and needs. Also, his photoshopped version of the expected outcome was the closest to the photoshopped picture I'd made myself and brought in. This made me confident of two important things: that my expectations were reasonable and that he felt capable of fulfilling them. All this said, it's clear he is at a prime stage of his career and trying very hard to keep building his name by taking in a lot of patients. The office can be very busy, and speaking with him sometimes feels a bit rushed, but other times is more relaxed and informative. It's clear that he has a lot of knowledge and takes his work seriously. The staff has been excellent and very quick to respond to questions. I'm still healing, but so far have been happy.

Dr. S is a very talented Plastic Surgeon. My results are way beyond what I ever expected. He did an amazing job and I do not for one second have second thoughts about my procedure. I would recommend him to anyone seeking Rhinoplasty.....you wont be disappointed!!

I chose Dr. Shah after reading many, many reviews of doctors in the Chicago area. He is a very professional doctor who takes the time to explain his philosophy towards his work. I didn't want to look drastically different, just a better version of me. Dr. Shah understood this thoroughly and it came through in the morphs he presented. He is always calm, no matter what kind of curve ball you throw him. I am a busy professional and I can sometimes be curt with my questions. He was never phased by this, and made me feel 100% confident in his ability.

I think Dr. Shah is an amazingly talented and skilled surgeon, and I have not had a problem with placing my trust in him throughout this process. The staff in his office are also very friendly and helpful, and I have had an overall very positive experience with everyone in Dr. Shah's office up to this point.

I'm only about 4 weeks out so far, but I can finally breath, and my nose looks more or less straight. The results have so far exceeded my expectations, although there is a significant amount of asymmetrical swelling which kind of sucks. Had kind of hoped that the bridge could have been built back up a bit more, but the result is still nice. Realistically I don't even know if building it up more was feasible. Plan for significant (30+ minute) wait times. I've learned that this is just part of going to the Dr. WIll update as things get better.

Updated on 10 Jun 2012:I spent a long time searching for the best surgeon and I think I found him! He has the best bedside manner and he was willing to take as long as I needed to make me feel like my questions were answered and I was happy. He has an amazing eye and does a natural rhinoplasty. I am so happy with the work he's done on me and would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting a rhinoplasty in the future. I have nothing bad to say about him and his staff!

I met with two other plastic surgeons before deciding on Dr. Shah. As a facial plastic surgery specialist who has done over a thousand rhinoplasties, Dr. Shah was the only one who took the time to really listen to my concerns, patiently answer endless my questions and discuss the procedure in such depth to ensure I was completely comfortable moving forward. Over the course of THREE consultations, he scrutinized my nose meticulously and worked with me to generate multiple digital morphs. The time he took with me showed not only his attention to detail, but his commitment to his patients and achieving the best possible outcomes. He demonstrated this meticulousness in surgery; when my nose proved a bit more deviated than expected, Dr. Shah took a full hour extra to work with it until he was satisfied. I can't wait to see how his perfectionism pays off in the next few months as my new nose emerges from the swelling. It's gonna be SHAH-MAZING! SHAH-LLELUJAH!

I think this review might help someone since I was not able to find a lot of information on this surgeon. I am just 5 days out of a septo/rhino and under eye fat transfer. I found Shah to be understated, elegant and classy as an individual when I have met him-just a quality individual. He is obv busy as his waiting room was lined up the times I was there, but he does seem to be attentive and present and focused when I have talked to him. He inspired faith and trust in me..which is important..who knows what will happen but I get a sense that he will be around if things don't turn out well. He has followed up and fit me in for a quick visit when I needed reassurance after the procedure. I have a lot of swelling but the bruising is minimal and the stitches are really carefully done..so that is making me feel more confident that the outcome will be ok. Being new to PS I had no idea what I was getting myself into..so I did not have many questions for him to answer..he may have thought I was more prepared. I basically put my looks into his hands and I will post some before and afters for you to judge for yourself. His hands are very precise and experienced when he did a post op check up.

I never expected my rhinoplasty to go as well as it did. Dr. Shah made me feel very confident about my decision. He is an honest and detail-oriented doctor who definitely is just as enthusiastic about the surgery as you are. I love my new nose and the results are so gratifying.

I narrowed my search down to a couple doctors in the area. I had a referral for each as well as performed my own research. After my second consultation I decided on Dr. Shah, he was very warm and seems like a perfectionist. After the second consult I understood more about what his plan of action was for my nose and decided he was the doctor for me. My surgery is less than a month away and I am getting nervous/excited.

Dr. Shah is incredible. I would recommend him to anyone. He is very knowledgeable and realistic with what he is able to achieve. He has a really sharp eye and in terms of rhinoplasty, knows how to achieve results that actually look natural. I am so happy with his work and his staff is equally as wonderful. The only reason I gave a 4 for after care follow-up and wait times are because I didn't get a chance to meet with him after my surgery and because the surgery started a little bit late. Minor stuff though =) Really happy with my results so far.

This procedure was really easy, I am really happy I chose Dr Shah I could really tell he knows what he is doing and he is very straightforward. He told me what things could be done and how the process was going to be for me. Things were always really smooth and I was always in contact with the people at his office. They all are very friendly and concerned about their patients. This was a great decision and I am really happy about it.

Dr. Shah- He is very nice and friendly, though not overly talkative. Communication and bedside manner don't seem to be his strong points but he'll meet with you as many times as possible before surgery to understand what you want. Dont count on him being overly reassuring or "talking" you into the surgery. We met in person once, did a virtual consult, and met the day before my surgery. I felt from these meetings he was able to understand exactly what I wanted. Dr. Shah was very respectful of my desires and did exactly what I asked of him. My nose is very natural and hopefully will continue to improve with the swelling. I believe he is very skilled and artistic as well, and these are the most important aspects in a surgeon, to me anyways. He also worked with some very well-known doctors in NYC and had a practice there. Overall I give doctor shah a 5 out of 5, based mainly on the fact that I am very satisfied with my nose. :)
