I have internal scar tissue and adhesion at the bottom of my cheeks right above the nasolabial folds, due to trauma over 6 yrs ago.i tried many injections of kenalog,5fu and even hylauronidase.but nothing seemed to work. i heared Affirm or Accent can help. but which one should i go for? how effective are they? any side effects? thank you
Scar Tissue and Adhesions are best treated with subcision. While fractional lasers can add collagen to scars they will not separate the retracted scars from their attachments.
I am planning on having juvederm injections in my cheek area. How long should i wait before having Affirm treatments?
Affirm laser therapy should not be performed for several weeks after Juvaderm. Before that time there is a theoretical risk that the heat from the laser might damage the Juvaderm.
Can Affirm laser treatment be used on the chest area? Is it safe if you have breast implants or can it cause damage to the implant
We use the affirm fractional C02 laser on the face, neck, decollete, chest, hands, all with very good results.
Implants are deep to the skin , and not a factor in the decision.
