Tattoo Removal - How Many Sessions?

im interested in tattoo removal.I dont want to spend a boat load of money on it tho.It seems you pay for each session so i was just wondering how many sessions you think this tattoo i have would take so i can estimate how much id have to spend.I have a star on left hand of my lower stomach. it is pink outlined in black and about the size of a nickel maybe a tiny bit bigger.ive had it for about 3 years i dont know if theres anymore info i have to give if so just ask

A: Tattoo removal sessions

Depending on the colors involved, ask about the color effectiveness of the specific lasers to be used.  Most of my experience is with the Q-switched YAG that does a good job on most colors except for blue-green pigments.  Commonly, this will take from 3 to 6 sessions to clear satisfactorily.

Recommendations for Fixing Bad Permanent Makeup Eyebrows?

I had my eyebrows tattooed today and I am not happy with the result. Can I have it removed and how long do I have to wait? Can I then re-tattoo over the area again?

A: Unwanted Tattoo?

The Q-switched YAG laser is ideal for removing unwanted tattos although it may take 3 to 6 sessions to get a satisfactory clearance. If the power is chosen well, there is very low risk of scarring. I will wait at least 2 months between sessions to allow the skin to recover before the next laser treatment. A word of caution regarding cosmetic makeup errors that have been covered up by subsequent tattoos of different colors. The laser may bring out new funny colors that may be hard to camoflage. Finally, the Q-switched YAG does not have satisfactory results with sky blue or green pigmented tattoos.
