It It Common For A Dr. To Recommend A Different Style Implant For Each Breast?

i had a consult the other day and i went looking to get TT,BL,BA,BBL. Anyways, with the implant stage of the consult i tried on 3 different sizes and styles and i guess they decided on 2different styles for me to go with to be implanted. I guess since my breast tissue is on the sides and ill have a anchor lift with areola being downsized. but is using 2different styles usual a good idea and used often by PS? thanks for your answers.

A: A Different Style Implant For Each Breast?

Different style implants are not that common, but differenct size implants are very commonly needed if the patient's breast are asymmetrical. The effort is to make the breast not only larger, but natural and the same shape and size as well. Often breasts are different sizes and shapes. A heavier breast will sag more with time and the nipple will be lower. Occasionally an uplift is necessary on only one side. Communate well with your plastic surgeon so your expectations are met, and do not be afraid to ask questions. Hopefully, this is a long-term commitment for you.

Saline Implant Rupture After Mammogram, What Should I Do?

I feel that my saline implant is smaller and that happened a little while after my mammogram. I was given more than the normal amount of xrays due to the fact I am a breast cancer survivor.

A: Saline implant rupture after a mammogram

You will need to consult your plastic surgeon. If it is ruptured, it will have to be replaced.

Will Lifting Weights Decrease the Breast Tissue?

I just had my breast augmentation over 2 months ago. I received Saline implants. I was a 32 B and now I am a 32DD. I am starting to get into lifting weights. Im not planning to be a bodybuilder, my goal is to just get fit and toned.I would love to stay at a 32DD, I love how they look. I know that my implants cant be decreased by exercise, but I was wondering if lifting weights could decrease the minimal breast tissue that I do have and could possibly make me drop a breast size.

A: Lifting weight and breast size

Losing weight will decrease breast size. If the weight lifting makes you lose weight, then yes. However, proportionally you will lose weight everywhere else too. Staying in shape is always good. It makes you look better and it's good for longevity.
