Is There A Way To Permanently Remove White Hairs?

Is There A Way To Permanently Remove White Hairs? I'm 23

A: Permanently removing white hairs.

The modern methods of hair removal using lasers all rely on pigment.  If a hair is white, the laser cannot interact with the hair follicle and will have no effect.  The most effective way to permanently remove white hair is with electrolysis treatment.  This will permanently remove the hair regardless of color.  Hope this was helpful.

What is the Best Hair Removal Method for Men?

I want to remove hair from the whole body (chest, back) and I am not limited in funds .I am looking for the most innovative technology for Men’s hair removal. It comes to my attention that NO NO and LightSheer Duet coming as favourites. What are other suggestions and/or advices?

A: Hair removal for men

Hair removal for men starts with the question of skin type.  If you have light skin, Lightsheer laser (Diode Laser) would be an excellent choice for removal.  If your skin is darker, seek out a very experienced practitioner who understands how to treat darker skin types.  In this case the laser of choice would be a long pulse 1064nm YAG laser.  It works great and is safe in skilled hands on darker skin types.  Otherwise waxing, shaving, or electrolysis are the alternatives.

Nd Yag or Alexandrite Laser for Coarse Hair?

i have very coarse hair in my bikini, legs, and underarm area. while the hair on my arms and belly is normal. I am skin type 3-4 and i went to 2 doctors. first doctor told me that i require Nd yag because alexandrite lasers only work with very fair complexions and there is a risk of burn. While the second doctor told me that she will use Alexandrite laser because there is no risk. note the 2 doctors are very reputable doctors in this field however i dont know who to go with.

A: Yag or Alexandrite laser for hair removal

If your skin type is 3 to 4, the 1064nm yag laser would be the laser of choice.  It is excellent on darker skin types.  The alexandrite does carry a slighter risk on your skin type, but in very skilled hands, it can be used effectively.  Just do your homework and ask the doctors to show you results of dark skinned hair removal that they performed.  Hope this was helpful.  Dr D.
