I Had fat transfer in my cheeks two weeks ago, result is O.K I wasnt to have some perlayne put in my chin area for volume,is it safe to do this now, the perlayne is not going to touch the fat in my cheeks.
This early after a fat transfer procedure you will almost certainly have some swelling. Placement of facial fillers will be most effective when the facial contours can be accurately evaluated in the abscence of swelling. For my patients, I recommend waiting at least 6 weeks for fillers after any surgical procedure, including fat transfer. The issue here is not safety (it is safe to use fillers in this setting, especially in a different location) but rather optimal aesthetic evaluation.
I have recently had juvederm voluma injected into the cheek area to add volume, I am now considering perlane filler to the same area to give a little more volume as I have heard that Perlane is good for this area. My question is can I now have Perlane so soon after having Juvederm - are the 2 products contra indicated?
Perlane and Juvederm are both hyaluronic acid fillers. This substance is the gel-like material naturally found in your skin. The two fillers differ in density and cross-linking but there is not reason you could not use them in the same area.
