After having a few consultations with other doctors in Tampa and Atlanta, when I met Dr. Zubowicz I knew he was going to be my surgeon of choice. From the moment he took the time to give me his opinion and go over pictures with me, I could tell that he actually cared about the outcome. Everyone I have come in contact with in his office and in the surgical facility below his office are extremely friendly and caring. I still have more surgical procedures to go and I definitely know that I will be returning to Dr. Z for them.

Good bed-side manner. Dry wit. I was happy with the evaluation, assessment, procedure and office operations. Nursing staff and anesthetist were pleasant and professional. One other point of consideration that is positive. If you feel that the medical opinion is not quite right based on your own experience with your body (tissue density/composition is a good case in point) he's open to discussing it. A doctor worth your consideration.
3 out of 5 stars Smart Lipo
I learned about Vincent N. Zubowicz on this website, TheRealSelf. After doing a lot of research, I chose a local plastic surgeon who specialized in SmartLipo. The surgeon I used happen to be running a special for the month of Feb so I decided to get both the upper and lower abdomen lipo'd. The process seemed easy. The doctor was nice. His staff was nice. They made me really comfortable and they were all sooooo wonderful.

Dr. Zubowicz did an amazing job. I am so happy with my results and have sent several patients to him. His office was also very caring and made the whole process as comfortable as possible.

I saw Dr. Z just as a consultation and within 2 minutes knew I wanted him as my surgeon. I saw him again before my surgery, immediately after my surgery, 1 week post-op and will be seeing him again in a few days for my 2-week post op & suture removal. Dr. Z is both professional & genuine, sharp & funny, and made me feel so comfortable. I actually get excited & look forward to every appointment because going to his office feels like going to a spa. Every person I interact with, the office setting & atmosphere, etc feels like a little spa tucked away in the heart of Atlanta. It couldn't be any better.

In my consultation I listened to everything the doctor told me. I got the incision under the breast to open the base and above the muscle. Which I loved the advice. But in my sizing I looked a lot bigger than I am I should have gone to 500cc.
So I met with Dr. Zubowicz for a consultation. I requested a consultation through Realself.com. In a couple of days, Christy (I hope that's her name) called me from the PS office. I made my consultation appointment over the phone and explained my previous surgery and the results. Unlike my first experience, I waited MAYBE 5 minutes in the waiting area not the two hours from my first PS. Before meeting with Dr. Zubowicz, I had already created a conversation in my head and was ready for bad news. He walked in and I didn't feel intimidated at all. He is very personable and easy to talk to. After explaining to me what to expect if I decided to have liposuction, he examined my problem areas. He explained that my problem areas could be retreated with liposuction. I am more than ready to start this journey.

First of all, anti-aging creams do not reverse aging-period. At best, they can only camouflage some of the stigmata of aging. The question is whether they even do that. Much money is spent on these products. Are they worth the money? All of the ingredients that supposedly combat aging are placed in emollients as a vehicle for delivery to the surface of the skin. By themselves, emollients hold in skin moisture and protect a bit against mechanical...
Emotional Health and Cosmetic Surgery Although not for everyone, physical adjustment of the body is definitely not an aberration. Aesthetic surgery is not a perversion foisted upon us by cultural propaganda. Patients who seek improvement of physical appearance through surgery are not collectively low in self-esteem or narcissistic. They are, for the most part, normal. A study from Scandinavia examined the...
There are a myriad of liposuction techniques that make it seem as though the removal of fat has a fast array of strategies. This is actually not the case. Liposuction is a fairly straightforward procedure and the techniques, regardless of what they are named, are similar. All legitimate liposuction techniques use negative pressure to aspirate unwanted fat. Sometimes this fat, as we’ll see, is “prepared” for removal prior to suction. However, in the end the fat is...
“Mini”, “SMAS”, “MACS”, “Lunchtime”, “LifeStyle”, “Vampire”, etc…. How many facelifts are there and are they really that different? Let’s break this down to a few simple concepts that will make this herd of procedures a bit more understandable. First anatomy: for the purposes of this blog we will define the anatomic limits of facelifts confined to the face and neck beginning at the lower eyelids and extending to the clavicle. Much has been written by the popular press concerning the safety of operations performed in outpatient surgery centers, usually introduced by the story of a catastrophe that provoked the inquiry in the first place. From these vignettes, there may be the i
