I just had an infected nose implant removed . Am thinking of using restylane or Hyaluronic Acid Fillers to fill up the void while waiting for reverse nose surgery . IS that fine ?
Some patients may want to change the appearance of the nose but not undergo an operation. Injectibles, in a limited way, can do this. They are safe and if the result is not to the patient's liking, eventually they will be resorbed. On the other hand, if the patient likes the results, the injections will need to be periodically repeated.
I don't know exactly what is wrong with it I just feel it looks awkward. Please help me and let me know if nonsurgical rhinoplasty is an option. I think my main concern is the bump and the fact that it droops a bit at the tip especially when I smile.
I believe at your age that a surgical procedure would give you the best result. Injectables may produce an improvement in some of the concerns but you may burn bridges and complicate future surgical correction with certain injectables. See a board certified Plastic surgeon to evaluate your nose internally and externally prior to any injectables. Donald R. Nunn MD, DDS Plastic Surgeon.
What's the longest lasting filler (or minimally invasive procedure) available to fix a nose that is slightly curved at the tip to the right and a little bit sunken in at the bridge from a previous procedure?
I was quoted for Radiesse, but am worried its gonna wear off too soon, and I don't want a constantly changing nose...thanks :)
Radiesse is the longest lasting filler but as to whether this will straighten a nose that curves - I think not. It should work well to build up sunken areas.
