What is the most permanent lip augmentation method available that has had the least complications? Which method/s may cause complications?
I have never had a complication with lip augmentation when using the patients own tissue. No patient has ever asked me to remove the permanent filler. I have had patients that wished I'd put in more.
Where can I get permanent lip augmentation? What doctors have the most experience and success using permanent saline lip implants? I want to set up a consultation and have mine done asap. Thank You.
About 3 out of 4 facelift patients in my practice choose lip augmentation as part of the operation. Fatty tissue called SMAS is cut to size and placed in the lips as a graft. It is simple, takes about 5 minutes, feels and looks natural, and is permanent. Better still, for my patients it's part of the facelift.
Is Botox ok for lip plumping? I want fuller lips and I've heard the most about Botox.
Botox can not be used as a filler for the lips. We do have injectable fillers such as Juvederm that work to enhance your lips.
