Rhinoplasty and Nose Shaping
A beautiful face is characterized by harmony and balance amongst the facial features. As the nose is the center of the face, it is critical that the nose does not distract from your eyes and lips. The goal of rhinoplasty is to improve the appearance of the nose, while optimizing nasal airflow. Oftentimes, other nasal procedures such as septoplasty, inferior turbinate reductions, nasal valve corrections, and septal perforation repairs are performed in conjunction with rhinoplasty. I am known for taking on revision rhinoplasty cases that other doctors have refused to consider. I’m also one of the few rhinoplasty surgeons who specializes in autologous rib grafting for nose reconstruction. And I specialize in ethnic rhinoplasty, including African-American rhinoplasty and Asian rhinoplasty. While most nasal procedures at my practice involve surgery, I also enjoy performing nonsurgical nose jobs (also known as a liquid rhinoplasty) with precisely administered dermal fillers.
Fillers and Other Injectables
Minimally-invasive dermal filler injections are an excellent way to correct early signs of facial aging. Dermal fillers are injectable compounds that can help smooth fine lines and deeper wrinkles in the face. Fillers can also restore volume and fullness to areas of the face that have lost their youthful appearance, resulting in a smoother, more lifted look with subtle tightening of the overlying skin. On other parts of the body, dermal fillers can smooth sunken scars. I also offer Botox and Dysport, neuromodulator injectables that temporarily relax muscle movement, helping to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and prevent new wrinkles. Injectables can be performed as a standalone procedure or a complement to other procedures. I individualize each patient’s treatment plan during a consultation. As a double-board-certified facial plastic surgeon, I have a mastery of facial anatomy that ensures natural-looking results with minimal downtime.

He has expertise in all types of plastic surgery procedures for the face, head, and neck, but he specializes in rhinoplasty, including challenging nose reconstruction surgery. After spending his childhood and young adulthood in Germany, Dr. Walker relocated to the U.S. to pursue his higher education. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan before undertaking a five-year residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Miami, where he was named chief resident in his final year.
Dr. Walker was selected for a highly competitive fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Illinois-Chicago, acting as the personal fellow of world-renowned rhinoplasty expert Dr. Dean Toriumi. Simultaneously, Dr. Walker acted as a clinical instructor at the University of Illinois-Chicago in the otolaryngology-head and neck surgery department, where he guided ENT residents.
Dr. Walker is double-board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Medical Association. His medical colleagues frequently seek out his expertise and book him for their own cosmetic surgeries, as well as those of their family members.
When he’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Walker is passionate about research and has presented his findings to peers at conferences, both domestically and internationally. He has also been published in numerous esteemed publications and textbooks.
He enjoys spending his time outside of his practice with his wife and two children, in addition to baking, playing tennis and golf, and traveling internationally.
