Dr Beaty was so easy to work with. He has the confidence that put my mind at ease about my nose reshaping, rhinoplasty surgery. As Dr Beaty encourages, I chose to have my surgery at the Chastain Surgery Center and had a wonderful experience. It feels like a spa rather than a hospital. The nurses are very nice as well and the front desk lady is hospitable. In fact, today they called me checking on me and ensuring that I was revisiting Dr Beaty for my post operation appointments. I have had a one day, one week, and two week post op appointment with Dr Beaty each at which he has been very welcoming and enthusiastic about my post surgery recovery. My experience with Dr Beaty and his staff was excellent! He has such attention to detail and at the same time the ability to put you at ease with the surgery. I'm very happy with the results. I actually looked good 3 days post surgery and if my hair was down, you couldn't even tell that I had just had surgery.

Dr. Beaty is a skilled doctor who is a wizard when it comes to improving the function as well as the appearance of your nose. He could tell what my problem was right away by just how my nose looked and sounded. Unlike some doctors, Dr. Beaty wont guess or go with plans A to Z until something works. He was not only capable but qualified to give me the best solution for the problem with my nose right away.

I'm only about 24 hours after surgery so I'm still tender, swollen, and it feels so weird to move my mouth but I'm staying elevated and in my compression wrap I already like the profile. But look puffy in front obviously, and neck is swollen. Updated on 2 Jun 2023: And I am starting to feel more normal in my lower face but still hurts to talk much. I’m just resting… It’s not so easy to eat yet but getting easier. I hate how I look without my bandage on and I love the way a cold pack feels so that’s what I do. Updated on 3 Jun 2023: ....and I'm so ready for the swelling and awkwardness talking or eating to be over. I'm in total isolation this week so it's boring. It hurts to talk on the phone for long. I hate seeing those hamster cheeks so I leave the bandage on all the time. I ice it a few times a day. Feels good. Updated on 4 Jun 2023: It feels more normal every day. But I'm such a naturally impatient person and these swollen jowls are killing me. I feel very Jay Leno. I tried touching the chin gently and I got squeamish thinking I could feel the implant and feel a bumpy contour. So I stopped touching and tried to take my mind off it. I'm starting to get over the ugly fat lower face from the front when I look in the mirror and believe in the healing process. I can see much improvement from the 3/4 profiles already. And I start to feel more normal each day. It's hard to talk or eat but not painful at all. Updated on 9 Jun 2023: I'm still feeling so swollen. I am too restless to rest. So I've been gardening and cleaning. Washed and brushed the dogs. Which doesn't make it go away... But I'll go nuts just resting for weeks..... Updated on 9 Jun 2023: Enjoy seeing me speak with a lisp and feel awkward as all get out. I am counting down the weeks until I can just wash my face and smile and laugh and not think about my chin and tender, swollen neck and jowls. Did any of you notice still having visible banding right after a neck lift and even noticeable when swollen? After having 5 consults with other surgeons in the Atlanta area, I picked Dr Mark Beaty for my neck lift. He is friendly. attentive, and highly competent with his impressive art and skill. Dr Beaty is double board certified and specializes in the face/ neck area only which is what I was looking for. . I am thrilled with my results!, and Dr Beaty gave me exactly what I wanted. Hands down to Dr Beaty and his friendly staff. They are all top notch! . Updated on 17 Nov 2021: I'm one week later and already loving the results. But you got to make sure you have the time off of work, and can commit to the timeline of this process to heal. FYI: I never felt any pain, just uncomfortable at times.

I was very nervous about choosing the right doctor to do a lower facelift. At age 63, I wanted to look better and more rested but didn’t want to look ridiculously overdone. I interviewed several doctors and after meeting Dr. Mark Beaty, I knew he was the right doctor for me. He actually listened to what I had to say and made his recommendations based on my goals. In addition to the lower facelift, he did my upper and lower eyelids and CO2 laser resurfacing. My results have been amazing. I also chose to do some skin maintenance. Dr. Beaty’s wife, Dr. Laura Beaty is equally as awesome as her husband and did an outstanding job with RF microneedling and Erbium laser. Then I had the pleasure of meeting Shawndelle who is a master at microneedling. What I have found is that everyone goes above and beyond to make sure your results are great. It’s an office filled with trained professionals who know what they are doing. But I think one important thing that distinguishes them from other offices is that they treat you like you matter. Everyone in that office that I have met has been super friendly and gone out of their way to help - Allyssa, Haley, Shanelle and Gary. I can’t say enough nice things about them. Overall, I’m thrilled with my results and with Beaty Facial Plastic Surgery.

I would highly recommend Dr. Beaty at Beaty facial Plastic Surgery whether you live in the Atlanta area or not! After enduring trauma to my nose years ago, i was left with a dorsal hump which made me feel less than confident and unlike my "real self". I first consulted with Dr. Beaty regarding my treatment options late February of 2020 and was one of the best decisions I have made to resolve this.1st, I know that the "liquid rhinoplasty" is on and poppin': I inquired about this and Dr. Beaty quickly advised me that this temporary solution should not only be done by a board certified FACIAL plastic surgeon (which he is) but it would not give ME the same results- plus it's temporary so that was tossed out for me.(I have seen him do it on others and if you just dont have the 1-2 week down time, he's the ONLY one in Atlanta I'd go to). Anyway back to how I landed on surgery:The consult was thorough, insightful and I was given ample time to ask and address any questions or concerns I had. Dr. Beaty even has a program that simulates your after pictures as he develops your treatment plan! Because of Covid, my personal schedule i took time to secure my date and finally had my procedure Dec 8th 2020.I take a lot into consideration prior to a procedure and I can confidently say that the warm, friendly, efficient staff there: Hailey, Alyssa, Katrina, Shawdelle, even Dr. Beaty's wife (who is also Dr. Beaty) made a huge difference for me. Everyone is attentive, kind and works in unison. I felt informed, supported and even when i changed my mind about the date (TWICE) they were all so kind and accommodating.My day of experience was the same - not only is the Chastain Sx Center beautiful but they are 100% on top of following COVID guidelines. Both my pre and post op care made a huge difference in my decision and recovery. Dr Beaty even called me a few hours after to check on me.I waited so long to do this because I thought "well its my face and if something goes wrong... that's my face!". Yes, there is a recovery period, yes you will be bruised and swollen but i honestly felt fine to go out and about after my 1 week mark. (Plus masks are thing so even better! The time is NOW!).As for my results? Amazing. I still look and feel like me - but refined which is definitely what I wanted. I am at 1 month post op and could see the results at 3 weeks. It takes time for all the swelling to go down but Dr. Beaty really refined the bridge of my nose and made me still look like me. It's a "everyone will notice but no one will know".I've heard " you look younger, are using new moisturizer? Your bone structure is amazing have you lost weight?". Follow all pre and post op instructions and you will be fine! P.S I am of mixed race: hispanic and black so YES he specializes in enhancing ethnic features! I searched, read reviews, and had a few consultations with other physicians but just didn’t feel comfortable moving forward with facial surgery until I my appointment and consultation with Dr. Beaty.
