hi, i had a pretty mild case of double chin and underwent double chin liposuction 1 month ago. however, i did not use the compression cloths like the doctor instructed, and now i have slightly loose skin. will it remedy itself in time, or should i seek treatments?
This may or may not improve. There are solutions to the potential skin excess. I would allow 3-6 months of healing time. Close follow up with your plastic surgeon is recommended.

Had lipo, no skin removed, one week ago. My neck is still partically numb. Also, when I laugh, one side of my mouth feels like it's not working totally right. Is all this normal?
The numbness after neck liposuction is very common and I inform my patients about this before any neck procedures. This happens as a result of the separation of the skin from the underlying tissue and stretching of the nerves during liposuction. The nerves almost always return though in some patients it can take some time. Likewise, the nerve to the corner of the mouth can be stretched or bruised in much the same way causing a transient crooked smile. Nerves are generally slow to heal so it can take some time for function and sensation to return but most patients experience recovery as quick as 1 month and others may take up to 6 months, sometimes longer. The good news is that things will get better. Good Luck!
I am 6 days post chin/jaw lipo and I see no difference. Actually it maybe even looks a little worse. Based on my pictures, do you think this is just swelling? At a minimum, I'm wanting that little triangle of fat behind where my chin starts to curve down into my neck to disappear. I'm worried because it's been almost a week and I still see no difference.
Based on your photos, you had a mild amount of excess fat in the neck before the surgery. Neck liposuction is a great procedure for young individuals who would like to contour their neck. As others have mentioned, removing too much fat is not advised to maintain a smooth contour. The skin incision as well as the bruising and swelling heals up in a week or two but the collagen underneath and the tightening effect takes time and most individuals feel that they look their best around 4 months though others may have to wait longer. Good luck!
