What is Gynecomastia? What is a gynecomastia technically speaking. I know it has to do with men with large breasts, but is this lumps or fat or something else?

A: Gynecomastia

Gynecomastia is abnormal development of breast tissue in males. Less than 1% of breast cancers occur in men, but the two are not associated. There are escalating grades of gynecomastia and depend on how much fat and glandular tissue as well as ptosis/sagging is present.
