Depending on the individual circumstances, all the missing teeth could be replaced with a combination of implants and implant supported bridges or dentures. The only limitation is the amount and quality of the bone remaining in your jaw.

As little as two implants can be utilized to stabilize an otherwise loose denture, or as many as one implant for each missing tooth could be used to restore your entire mouth

Often where teeth have been missing for a long time the bone disappears, your body "recycles" it ;  this limits the palcement of implants in those locations. Nowadays, in many cases, it is possible to graft bone back to these locations by an experienced implant surgeon.

You will need a comprehensive evaluation by an experienced implant dentist or team of dentists to plan your case appropriately and offer you a set of treatment options.

Even if implants are more costly than other treatment options many patient have found it to be well worth the expense.   Being freed from their ill fitting dentures or removable partials made a significant improvement in their quality of life.
