Do vitamins affect botox? If so how and which wones as i am taking a lot and dont know whether to stop for my botox in two weeks times?
Stopping vitamins prior to Botox injections, especially those that include blood thinning properties (Vit E, etc) is beneficial to reduce the risk of bruising. There is some evidence, although less than scientific as of today, that Zinc supplements can decrease the gap between injection and effective results as well as improving total effectiveness of the drug....but the real scientific verdict is out.

Is there such a thing as a bad,non affective dose of Botox. Its been 10 days and I see no difference in my forehead and crows feet..
Effectiveness of Botox depends on the source (Allergan in Us vs other source), concentration of the product and the doctor's level of expertise and ability to effectively deliver the dose to the correct muscle to bring about the goal. These aspects are controlled by the physician....shipping conditions, manufacturing conditions, expiration, etc. are controlled by the manufacturer.
We inject a significant amount of Botox in our office and have occasionally noticed variable effectiveness of the equivalent doses of the drug in certain patients that previously responded well. Have your physician report the lot number to the manufacturer. Review the dose with your doctor as well....Multiple sources of decreased effectiveness, but I would start with your doctor and review the results with him or her.

A lot of reviews have mentioned flu like symptoms and a sore throat lasting quite a while after Botox, why is this and is it normal? Is it just a reaction to the Botox?
Although unlikely, certainly anything is possible in medicine and I never say never!...treat the symptoms as you would normally, fluids, over-the-counter analgesics, anti-histamines, etc. Call treating physicians office and even PMD if symptoms worsen.
Good Luck!
