Will i have good results with a full TT with muscle repair and lipo of the flanks. And a BA with Silicone implants under muscle but not sure what size to get any info would be helpful thank you
The operation you have described should certainly help by flattening your abdomen and creating a longer, leaner waist. Some of your stretch marks will probably not be removed but your overall shape will improve significantly. Breast Augmentation is frequently added to the tummy tuck, as it seems you are contemplating. Your surgeon will work with you to choose a size that complements your overall shape. I am 40 I have ALWAYS looked like I was pg in the stomach area. I have even done an olympic distance tri and worked with a personal trainer I still have the same stomach. Is this just the way I am built? I am tired of people tell me I just don't work out enough and/or that I am not eating the right way. I have tried everything for a flat stomach.I am not a mom and have never had kids (don't plan to)Are there single people out there that have not had kids that get TT?
There are several things a surgeon would assess in someone such as yourself. First, how much subcutaneous fat is there - this is fat between the skin and muscles that can be liposuctioned. The next would be if there is any fascial laxity in the abdomen that would help to create a rounded abdominal appearance. Lastly would be to assess how much of the contour is due to 'intra-abdominal' fat - fat located deep to the muscles, surrounding the internal organs. Your photos seem to indicate the presence of some subcutaneous fat, which could be addressed with liposuction. Fascial laxity, if present, can be addressed with a modified abdominoplasty. Unfortunately visceral fat can only be treated with diet and exercise. Best of Luck Dr Harrell
How Much Rest Vs. Movement Should I Be Doing After TT Surgery?
My philosophy is to get patients moving quickly after surgery as this reduces the incidence of postoperative complications. My patients are instructed to wear a binder for the first several weeks followed by a moderately supportive girdle for several months. This helps to re-inforce the repair of the fascia while healing takes place. I usually allow the patient to perform aerobic exercises when they feel comfortable doing so - usually about 3-4 weeks following surgery. Heavy lifting, sit ups and any activity requiring strenuous contraction of the abdominal muscles are delayed for six weeks. This has worked well in my experience.
