I had Botox injections 3 days ago above eyebrows and 11 lines. My outer eyebrows lifted in about 24 hours while my 11 lines seem worse. I was wondering if there is still time for the 11 lines to get better and maybe lift the inner eyebrow? It seems as if under my inner eyebrow is puffy and is lower making the outer brow seem higher. Should I go back in now or wait a week or so?
Wait for at least 10 days. Typically there will little to no improvement after that time. If this was a new caregiver for you then make sure you understand what dose of Botox is being given and that he understood what your goals were. With the right dose and the appropriate placement - Botox results should usually be excellent. Best of Luck Dr Harrell
I’m interested in knowing more about the true risk of Botox parties. Are the risks all that significant that you need a doctor on-hand? Afterall, Botox does wear off
The American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons are against such parties. As a member, I strive for my patients to have the highest quality results in the safest environment. Rarely, botox could cause allergic reactions. Botox, while an injection, is a procedure that should be done in an office setting. Not all injectors are created equal. I personally do the injections in my office.
