After my jaw surgery when my lower jaw was moved back I was left with deeper creases in my nasolabial folds as well as vertical lines that extended downward from the corners of my mouth all the time, not just when smiling. I had filler put it and if I'd of gotten another vial it may have done what I wanted it to. But then the price would have gone to 1800 or so. I had two vials done which... more
I have to say Juviderm can be a very nice thing as long as the doctor injecting knows how to place it. I was left with a crooked smile and bulges that did not belong. Hyaluranidase did not work as well as expected after a few attempts to reduce the fill. It has been a very long 2 months and I still have 4-6 months worth of walking around disfigured. If you get it, definitely watch where the... more
Had Juvederm to rid of marionette lines and naso and fine lines and wrinkles. Looked great immediately after and lasted for less than 2 weeks. I looked the same as I did before I had the injections. Looking to see if anyone else has had this happen? Where did it go. Does it just get absorbed into blood stream and disappear? A lot of money wasted. more
While researching for a doctor with impeccable skills that relate to facial reconstruction, noses, rhinoplasty, fillers and/or botox I came upon Dr.Steiger a young and very talented Doctor found in Boca Raton, Fl.
Two years ago I got my lips done with a doc in FT. Lauderdale, there was no numbing done what so ever and the pain was almost too horrible to take the lips were uneven and the... more
Overall, it was a good experience. It met my expectations, and I am very satisfied. I now feel more relaxed about myself, so it has positively affected my life. I wish that I decided to do this ten years ago, but didn't realize the options that I had at that time. I would recommend it to anyone who has the same condition- it is well worth it. more
I got juvederm in my lips because I wanted them to be fuller, my lips were very tiny. Now since getting the injectable my lips are fuller and natural looking, I absolutly love them so much, I feel as though I look more feminine. more
Immediate satisfaction! Face was starting to look saggy. So I had juvaderm injections in my marionette lines. So worth it. The only time that I had an issue with the injections bruising is when I had had a glass of wine the night before. Terrible bruising. But it was my fault.
Other then that I could usually walk out looking 10 years younger. I would only use this product on my marionette... more
I originally went to Dr. P's office to look into breast augmentation, which I never ended up doing. I now periodically go to Dr. P for fillers (Juvedem), about once every two months. I sometimes do them with Dr. P or with his PA, Christy. They always make me look natural and they do them in the right places. The fillers give me extra fullness in my face where I need it because I’m... more
This is the 2nd time I did Juvederm. The 1st time was in my cheeks which makes bumps but they go away after a couple of days. The 2nd time I did the cheeks again but I also added some juvederm between my eyebrows to take care of the folds. This was a major mistake. The cheeks did not bother me, but between the eyebrows caused me to have a very bad infection which causes me to have knife-like... more
I did not go with juviderm because everyone was so negative on this board. So I went with restylane instead of juviderm. I went to my dermatologist and she was thrilled because this was my 1st time! We used 2 syringes.
Does it hurt? yes but its bearable.
Would I do this again? Absolutely! I can't stop looking at myself. I am amazed with how I look.
When I go back I will use... more
I had juvederm injected 7 months ago. The surgeon at West palm Beach didn't do a good job since must of the stuff is not on my lips or my wrinkles and I look like I was on a fight with lumps on top of my mouth. He injected 2 syringes and it seems like it's taking forever to dissolve.
I would like to find an experienced doctor that removes it in the Raleigh/Durham area.
I do... more
Definetly Feel & look better, but think I will go in for another syringe in 6 months. I feel the area could be filled more, but i have to save up!!!

Although expensive at $600 per syringe (published price $950) but with salon discount $1200 for two syringes I am pleased with the results. I bravely did not go for the dental block just the cream and ice packs. A little painful but bearable and the technician was excellent. I believe it is totally down to the injector I had minimal bruising and was able to massage the gel myself on the... more
After reading Every Review on this site (and others) I was Very Concerned about my decision to have Juvaderm injections for my lips. Really, if you look at the reviews its about a 50/50 split-not such great odds. None-the-less, I decided to go ahead with it putting all my trust into my PS (who I have used for Several other procedures).
OK: Here's the low down 24 hours later: ABSOLUTELY NO... more
