A: QuickLift vs. more complete Facelifts

Many facelifts have been developed over the 28 yrs. that I have been in practice. A Quicklift is no more than a variation on a very limited facelift, does not involve the eyes, brows, and rarely can involve the neck. If all that one needs is some tightening to the SMAS layer performed in a limited way through a limited incision through which only a limited amount of skin could be removed, then "go for it" and accept the limited results! Plastic Surgeons who have studied for years to discriminate between the different types of lifts and how each may fulfill the specific needs for improvement in each patient should be able to guide a patient to select the proper surgery for their needs.
