Face and Neck Lifts
Facelift surgery and neck lift surgery can take decades off a person’s appearance. I often like to combine these procedures with my signature RefresherLift. Using a technique called a SMASectomy, I can correct sagging jowls, sunken cheeks, and deep facial lines while performing a rhytidectomy and platysmaplasty.
Breast Surgery
I am known for my skill in performing a variety of breast enhancement procedures, including breast revision surgery to correct past breast augmentations. In addition to traditional breast implant plastic surgery, I also offer breast lifts, breast reductions, gynecomastia correction, and breast augmentation using fat grafting.
Cheek, Chin and Jawline Enhancement
Cosmetic chin and cheek augmentation is performed using a variety of implants that can dramatically restore the facial balance. Combined with a prominent nose and correction when indicated, chin and cheek implants help build a better profile. Chin-jowl implants are sometimes combined with face and neck liposuction or other neck correction procedures to enhance the depth or the sharpness of the neck.

Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Christian Drehsen brings over 40 years of experience to his thriving practice, Clinique of Plastic Surgery and Laser Institute in St. Petersburg, Florida. He performs plastic surgery procedures across the face, breast, and body, but is perhaps best known for his signature RefresherLift. After researching and studying the negative effect of aging on facial expressions and thus, social interactions (which he has coined “The Happy Emoticon Effect”), Dr. Drehsen developed this procedure to improve his patients’ quality of life.
A Brussels native, Dr. Drehsen completed his MD at the Free University of Brussels before moving to the United States, where he pursued residencies in surgery, plastic surgery, microsurgery, and hand surgery. He is passionate about providing his patients with highly individualized treatment plans and delivering artistic, natural outcomes that enhance their innate beauty. Dr. Drehsen is a lifelong academic and continues to study and develop innovative techniques that yield results admired by his medical colleagues and patients alike.
