Does everyone get lumps on a neck lift incision? How common is it?
I agree. It may take 6 months for lumpiness after neck lift or facelift procedure to resolve completely but there should be noticeable improvement sooner. It is not uncommon. Hopefully, you were advised that this could occur.
I am 47 and in the process of losing weight and notice that my neck/throat is flabby and I am developing longitudinal wrinkles. I've been fortunate never to have had much in the way of wrinkles before, but these are deep and I find it hard to accept them. Is my only option surgery and how much of an improvement can I hope for? I'm currently using Bio-oil and massage, no improvement so far:-(
Well, no description you provide can take the place of seeking opinions after submitting photos of the problem. I do not think that what you are doing will prove successful but it is hard to give useful advice without the necessary information.
Will it feel like a bruise? Will it throb, or just tingle?
I think the answer to this question depends on your surgeon's technique. I RARELY have patients who complain of pain after this procedure. In fact, I honestly cannot recall where this has ever been a problem.
