Options For Weak Jaw Line and Sagging Cheeks? Hi Drs,I was wondering what are my options to restore facial fullness of my cheeks and heigth in my jaw line? I'm 34 years old. I always used to have full cheeks and a normal jaw line that made me look alot younger than my age but, since I extracted 5 permanent teeth for braces, My face is a mess. Now i would like to know what are my options. Can mandibular implants give support to cheeks? will that help to give heigth to the jaw area? Right now im so drepresed. Please Help! Thanks.

Of course, it is difficult to give options with no photos provided. At your age, it seems like fillers would be the best option for you. Personally, I have had a lot of success with Radiesse injections to provide a fuller cheek and help straighten the jaw line, although other fillers, such as Sculptra or fat, would probably also be successful.

Eyebrow Frozen After Lower Facelift, How is that Possible? I had a mini face lift 3 days ago mainly to correct sagging jowls problem. The incision is at the ear. My left brow isn't moving much now and can't be raised making my eyelid droop a little and thus left eye looks smaller than right eye. The right eyebrow can be raised normally. I notice some swelling at my left temple. I don't understand how a lower face lift will damage anything in the forehead or brow. What has happened? And how soon can I recover?

Yes. This can happen, just as other doctors have discussed with you. But I am writing just to re-emphasize that in all likelihood this will get better with time. It is VERY early after your procedure and the odds are STRONGLY in your favor that the brow elevation will return to normal over the next 6 months or so.

Lower Facelift and Other Options for a 66-year-old? At 66, what would be the best treatment for lower face? I have read so many negative articles about thread lift. Fillers will not be enough; I need a lift. Do I need a lower face lift or is there an easier way to fluff this area up?

A: Lower facelift and necklift

Tightening of the skin of the neck and lower face can only occur with a well executed lower facelift and necklift combination. Skilled Plastic Surgeons should be able to perform this surgery for you. Fillers or lasers will not accomplish this. Trust your surgeon.
