I Would Not Recommend Dr. Farrior Doctor to Anyone. I Had a Terrible Experience - Tampa, FL

Eyelid Surgery
I had an upper and lower blepharoplasty performed by Dr. Farrior six years ago. From the moment I came home from the procedure, I experienced very bad nerve pain that persists until this day. I never received a call from Dr. Farrior or even a nurse following the procedure and I while was in very bad pain, I contacted the office myself. Someone finally called me back and when I described to her the pain that I was in, she was very unhelpful, uncaring and lacked any type of medical knowledge or assistance. I never heard from Dr. Farrior himself that evening or at all for that matter in regards to my operation or the pain that I reported, much to my suprise. It was not until I was able to go in for my post-op appointment that I was able to explain the pain that I had been experiencing. He offered nothing in regards to a treatment for me, but just referred me to opthamologists, who have not been able to help with the nerve pain. I have been to several eye doctors who have not been able to help with the pain. Dr Farrior was completely unsympathtic and made it very clear that he wanted me out of his office. He was rude and uncaring. I just wanted him to take resposiblity for my discomfort and offer me some type of treatment, being that he is supposedly a specialist in facial cosmetic surgery. I still suffer to this day with nerve pain around both eyes. I wish that I never had this procedure performed by Dr. Farrior as I am still in pain everyday. If you are considering any type of facial surgery, stay away from this doctor and his practice all together to avoid this happening to you

Rhinoplasty
I chose Dr. Farrior because I have had consults with him in 2000 and in 2005 already. A nurse practitioner I used to work with AND my best friend had Dr. Farrior do their rhinoplasty surgeries. Even STILL I had consulet's with 3 other PS's for my own piece of mine. What I like most about him is that he ONLY does FACES. The amount of Rhinoplasty experience was a selling point. A lot of his staff has had him work on them and unless they tell you, you would never know since the results are so natural. He has that super sweet "fatherly" way about him that completely puts you at ease. like he has known you all his life. And his staff? Forget it! Those girls are awesome.

Dr. Farrior is experienced and professional. He didn't really offer any information about the procedure or what to expect afterwards, but he did answer all my questions. He has a great staff and I am very happy with the follow up care(I've had 2 follow up appts- one at day 3 and the other at day 11) and will see him again in January. His wait time was excellent, with the exception of the surgery day itself. I was originally supposed to have surgery at 7:30am. They called a few days before and changed it to 1:15pm. They called around 12pm the day of the surgery and changed it to 2:45pm and I was probably sitting in the lobby until around 4pm before they finally called me back. This made the day of surgery very stressful and frustrating. Dr. Farrior seems to be a little more conservative than some of the other doctors on here(he doesn't take stitches out until day 11 and he's pretty firm on the no make-up rule for 3 weeks). His office provides a thorough and easy set of instructions for pre-op and post-op, which I found very helpful.

I look very natural, everyone says, and 15-20 years younger, just unfortunate that I'm still very red and blotchy.
