I'm excited and nervous about my upcoming breast reduction surgery Aug 20th. I have been trying to stay busy to keep my mind off the surgery, but I cannot contain my anxiety. It's the unknown and anticipation of how much pain/discomfort I will be in and what the final result will look like. With all that said I'm looking forward to my new perky breast! Not to mention going shopping for new... more

A much needed reduction due to constant back pain . I've never felt this good about myself. My tops fit better, no bulging buttons, in fact I had to go buy smaller sizes. Since I'm diabetic I knew it might take longer to heal. I did get an infection and had an open wound , it was a large scar and I opted to have it recut and it is perfect. more

Hi, I'm 26 years old, I've had back an shoulder pain since I was 14. Before I was pregnant, I was a j, but I have not gone down. I've tried weight loss, they don't go anywhere. Running used to be fun for me, I miss it. I'm six feet tall and I weigh 244, I'm hoping to get down to 225-230 before my surgery. Insurance has approved my claim. I'm just waiting on my surgery date.
I'm both excited... more
Can't wait for my breast reduction. I am 39 going to be 40 in February and can't wait to wear normal clothes. To be able to work out without the girls getting in the way!. I have always been huge... Was a D cup in 6th grade and after children ballooned to an DDD cup.
Five years ago at age 43, I started working out and got in great shape. Decided it was time for a mommy makeover and went in for a tummy tuck and breast lift. In hindsight, I don't think I really understood to difference between a lift and a reduction. I think even now they may mean different... more
Helllo! I am very pleased with the results of my breast reduction. I just have a little concern, wound seperation. I would like to know if I can expect the worst before it heal. Meaning is the wound going to spread or get deep before healing? I know everyone heal differently but generally speaking. Its not deep and dime sized.

At the young age of 20, I had always been self-conscious and uncomfortable about the abnormally large size of my breasts. I had great trouble finding bras, bathing suits and even typical clothing that fit me and I came to the point where I knew I had to do something. After talking with some family friends about their surgery experience and knowledge of doctors in the area, I heard about Dr.... more
After trying to get a reduction since 2005, I finally found the PS and office staff that would advocate for me to my insurance company successfully. I was armed with a current MRI that shows an arthritic spine and neck, documentation of 3 months of physical therapy, a diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis and of course all the other stuff (like shoulder grooving) that comes along with having 38DDD... more
My out of pocket cost was less than $100.00 after insurance. I went from a 38DDD to a 38C. Started running again, lost 40lbs and am now down to a 38B. I love my perky breast and the freedom of being able to go braless. I feel so much better and get compliments all the time!Ladies,
