Hi, Thank you for your question.  I am a board certified Plastic Surgeon and I do about 98% of my lipo cases under local.  this includes our fat transfer to buttocks or breasts.  However, we use the Body Jet in our practice instead of tumescent lipo.  We get less bleeding and the fat is removed gentler than with traditional lipo.  In addition, the Body Jet has a Lipo Collector that separates the fat from the fluid as we do the lipo and we are ready to transfer the fat back as soon as we are done with the lipo.

Thank yo for your question.  Basically a Brazillian Butt Lift is not even a lift.  It is autogous fat transfer to the buttocks.  We call our procedure Natural Fill Buttocks.  We do our procedure under local anesthesia.  The first step is liposuction.  This can be done anywhere you have excess fat but ideally you want to do lower back, love handles, maybe hips.  This helps contour the areas around the buttocks.  We use the Body Jet for this.  Then the fat is transferred or injected into the buttocks to improve the shape and contour.

While I think it is possible for you to exercise as soon as 3 weeks after your Brazilian Butt Lift, if you were my patient I would ask you to wait significantly longer than this, and the exact time would depend on your progress through the recovery period and your examination on your follow up visits.

In other words, I think it is important to tailor the postoperative regimen to the patient's needs and progress, but there is no question in my mind that in order to achieve the best outcome you should be patient and not risk losing any of those precious fat cells.
