I like to formulate my intended reply before I see what others have advised. In this case, I agree completely with the advice others have given. Photos are NEVER a substitute for an in person consultation and in this case, the photo supplied really is inadequate to tell. From the look of it, I cannot tell whether surgery would be an option for you. But I am located in the Tampa Bay area and would be happy to see you in person if you are so inclined.

Is a Brow Lift Ever Recommended with Eyelid Surgery for "Westernizing" Eyes? As a person of Asian descent with very small eyelids, would eyelid surgery alone help "Westernize" my eyes, or would I need a brow lift as well?

Asian eyelids can be "westernized" with eyelid surgery. Brow lifts may be done in conjunction with this surgery if needed, and in these cases, may be beneficial.

It is not uncommon to have blurred vision after ANY eyelid procedure. But it is necessary to see an ophthalmologist or oculo-facial plastic surgeon to be certain that nothing is truly wrong.
